The Limestone County Water and Sewer Authority issued a notice on March 3rd, explaining that they discovered a "critical system component" that required "immediate attention" on Tuesday. "Our team is actively flushing affected lines to restore clear water conditions as quickly as possible," the notice said. "We are prioritizing residential areas first."
Water clarity is expected to return to normal within 24-48 hours. Additional crews have been deployed to speed up the system restoration.
